Privacy
Short, and in plain language — because a privacy notice nobody can read protects nobody.
The short version
This website does not collect your personal information. It runs no analytics and has no database, and nothing you type into it is transmitted to us or to anyone else. It sets no cookies of its own — the one exception is the Google Map on our contact page, described below.
The enquiry form
The contact form on this site does not send anything by itself. When you press the button, it opens your own email application with a message drafted for you. Nothing leaves your device until you choose to send that email, and until you do, we never see it.
Once you do email us, we hold your message and contact details for the purpose of replying and, if we go on to work together, for providing the services you have asked for.
The map on our contact page
Our contact page shows a Google Map of our office. That map is loaded from Google, and Google may set cookies and record your IP address when it loads. That is the only third-party content on this website.
If you would rather not load it, the same address is written out in text directly above the map, and in the footer of every page.
The tax calculator
The tax calculator runs entirely inside your browser. The income figure you enter is never sent to a server, never stored, and disappears the moment you close or reload the page.
Hosting and technical logs
Like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider that may keep standard technical logs — such as IP addresses and requested pages — for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.
Links to other sites
Where we link to other websites, those sites have their own privacy practices and we are not responsible for them.
Information we hold about clients
Information you give us in the course of an engagement is treated as confidential and is used only to carry out that work and to meet our professional and legal obligations. We do not sell client information, and we do not share it except where the work requires it or the law compels it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to us and we will respond.
